Haines: Open House to dicuss Haines Hwy ACOE Permit

HAINES – Open House will be held from 5 to 8pm at the ANB Hall to discuss the PROPOSED ARMY CORPS PERMIT for state funded project that would use equipment to MOVE NEW NATURALLY OCCURRING SLIDE MATERIAL FROM TAKSHANUK MOUNTAINS–that covers the surface of the Haines Highway–into the Chilkat River at Haines Highway Milepost (MP) 19.
