Mapping as a Tool for Restoration

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are computer programs that allow us to use spatial information to better understand our watersheds. We use GIS to collect, analyze, and share geographic data to make well-informed decisions and recommendations for healthy watershed stewardship.

We assist our community partners with creating and administering field mapping protocols. We work with partners, such as community forest partnerships, on an individual basis to build custom maps and data collection tools to meet their needs.
