Business of Clean Energy In Alaska Conference

ANCHORAGE – 6th ANNUAL BUSINESS OF CLEAN ENERGY IN ALASKA CONFERENCE will be held at the Dena’ina Convention Center to bring clean energy experts from across the country together for two interactive days to connect and educate Alaska’s business, utility and policy leaders on the growing economic opportunities elated to renewable energy and energy efficiencies. DENIS HAYES, CEO of the Bullitt Center (the world’s greenest commercial building) will be one of the keynote speakers, and there will also be updates on clean energy projects happening across Alaska. This year’s conference will include five plenary panels with national energy experts, moderated by ELIZABETH ARNOLD, Former National NPR Political Correspondent and Assistant Professor of Journalism at UAA. Additionally, attendees will have a chance to participate in breakout discussions on a variety of energy topics, including: Policy as a Driver, Financing Clean Energy: Inviting Investment, Railbelt Energy Supply & Infrastructure, and Energy Efficiency: A Booming Business.
