Office of History & Archaeology Grants for Historic Buildings and Structures

Deadline for applications for the OFFICE of HISTORY and ARCHAEOLOGY GRANTS to assist with REHABILITATING, RESTORING, STABILIZING, or PLANNING for PRESERVING HISTORIC BUILDINGS and STRUCTURES. Individuals, businesses, corporations, local governments, and state agencies owning properties listed in the National Register of Historic Places can apply.

Additional eligibility guidelines are contained in the grant announcement and application materials posted at http://dnr.alaska.gov/parks/grants/dev.htm. The grants are reimbursable and matching, dollar for dollar. The total amount of funding available through this program is $200,000. A minimum of $10,000 and a maximum of $25,000 can be requested, per project, for development grants. A minimum of $3,500 and a maximum of $10,000 can be requested, per project, for pre-development grants.
