In 2024, we hosted the first Alaska statewide watershed workshop in over 10 years. This event was aimed at Alaska-based, NGO watershed groups; designed to connect us all to connect our waters.

The workshop was meticulously planned with representatives from 10 watershed groups working around the state including: Copper River Watershed Project, Kenai Watershed Forum, Yukon River Inter-Tribal Watershed Council, Tanana Valley Watershed Association, Anchorage Waterways Council, Tyonek Tribal Conservation District, Klawock Indigenous Stewards Forest Partnership, Trout Unlimited, and the Southeast Alaska Fish Habitat Partnership.

Funding for this workshop was provided by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service. Special thanks to Alaska Brewing Company, Heritage Coffee Roasters, Barnacle Foods, BioAKoustics, Spark and Muse, and the Juneau Hostel for supporting this workshop.
