Webinar: Climate Change Effects on Pacific Northwest Ecosystems

January 21, 2014 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Are you a natural resource manager or scientist involved with managing/conserving MONTANE WETLANDS?

How will our changing climate affect wetland habitats such as forest wetlands, wet meadows, small ponds, and riparian wetlands in the Pacific Northwest?

You are invited to participate in a NPLCC Science/Management Webinar –  to learn about how climate change may affect wetlands you care about. This project developed innovative hybrid approaches for simulating past and future montane wetland behavior. These tools will allow hindcasting of over 90+ years of wetland behavior and projections of impacts of warming and precipitation change in the 21st century. The project is ongoing and will support biological assessments for amphibians and at-risk species in the mountain environment.
