Alaska Board of Fisheries Public Meeting

ALASKA BOARD of FISHERIES will hold a public meeting beginning at 8:30am at the Egan Convention Center, 555 W. 5^th Avenue. No regulatory action will be taken at this meeting Agenda topics for this meeting may include: Election of officers; Petitions; Meeting organization and establishment of committees for the 2015/2016 meeting cycle; Informational reports; Creation of board generated proposals; and/or Administrative issues that may come before the board. The board will also take up items under a miscellaneous business agenda. The board may also consider delegating its authority to the department to modify references to regulatory markers as part of an ongoing effort by the department to standardize regulatory language.
