The Army Corps of Engineers has approved the proposed ILF program Prospectus and has sent a letter of approval encouraging SAWC to move forward with developing a Draft Instrument for the program.
While SAWC does not yet have an approved ILF program, approval to begin developing a Draft Instrument is big step and a great milestone in the complex process of developing an approved program!

Though there is still a significant amount work as we move forward, SAWC looks at this as a tremendous achievement- not only for the coalition and it’s partners but also for the advancement of informed aquatic resource management in Southeast Alaska!
