One of SAWC’s key goals is to coordinate the organization and distribution of information and resources to communities in Southeast Alaska in order to foster the growth and innovation of community stewardship initiatives and efforts.
As a result of this goal:
1. There will be an increase in community organizations and Southeast Alaskans that are using the network in order to share experiences and knowledge.
2. There will be an increase in community interest and participation in enhancing an/or developing programs and initiatives that promote, protect and restore Southeast Alaska watersheds.
This page is a service offered by the Coalition to our member councils and peers working toward informed community based watershed management to support the organization and distribution of information and resources throughout the region.
Check back frequently for the latest information on community projects and programs, events, meetings and deadlines, as well as upcoming funding opportunities!
