Sept. 23-25: Alaska Rural Energy Conference
Hosted by the Alaska Energy Authority and the Alaska Center for Energy and Power (ACEP), the Alaska Rural Energy Conference is a three-day event in Fairbanks, Alaska, offering a large variety of technical sessions covering new and ongoing energy projects in Alaska, as well as new technologies and needs for Alaska’s remote communities. This year’s agenda will include two half-day tours of the Aurora Energy/Superior Pellets/Fairbanks Foodbank Micro-turbine, and University of Alaska, Fairbanks Power Plant/ACEP Energy Technology Facility/Fairbanks Natural Gas on Sept. 22 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
